Student Rights & IEP Representation
“As a parent, a learner, and a Certificated Teacher with a current California Teaching Credential, I understand how important children are and how important it is that they are given an education without having to face discrimination for any reason from any person.”
– Stephanie White
IEP Representation – Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) are the way to help facilitate the needs of special-needs students in school. At the Law Office of Stephanie White we know the law regarding what educators can and cannot do, your rights as a parent of a student with an IEP, and the rights of the student (your child). We can attend and negotiate the IEP with you or work with the designated Special Education department to obtain the realistic outcome and program you want and your student needs.
Parent & Student Rights – In every school setting (just like every work setting), your child has rights. He has the right to learn, the right to be safe, the right to be treated respectfully. If your child has been mistreated at school, we can help determine what can be done and take legal action if that is warranted.
